Watson Family Shoot
Just a sample of the nearly 300 pictures taken during this shoot. Digital is insane. I have mixed feelings about snapping so many pictures. At times I miss the careful eye and slower pace of using film. But digital does have it's advantages.
Anyway, here's the lovely and intelligent Watson Family. Very nice people.

Jon's 30th Birthday
And...I'm back. Whew. If it's not one thing, it's another. And my mind is still swimming with things I need to do.
Well, first off, Jon had a birthday party this past weekend. The party was a success. I had two surprises planned for him and they both turned out well. His mom flew in as a surprise for his birthday and I had two special keepsakes of Jon's framed, much to his speechless surprise. He loved it. Just wanted him to feel special and loved on his 30th birthday. I think I succeeded. Many thanks to all the family and friends who helped out and added their presence to the festivities of the evening.
Since I was so busy that night, I really didn't get a chance to take many pictures, but I'm sure I'll get copies someday of the ones everyone else took of Jon, his mom and I.
This is the homemade Italian Creme Cake I made so Jon would have something pretty on which to blow out his 30 flaming candles. He's not big on desserts but the cake was delicious and turned out well, especially after my sister decorated it with all those pretty strawberries. Her skilled decoration really turned my messy little homemade cake into something impressive. The frosting was homemade too! Thought I'd throw that in while I was at it....
