Downtown Portland

Here's a shot of downtown from when Jon and I went there to find housing. What a whirlwind trip that was. Ugh. We found that we liked Washington better, so we hopped across the river and eventually found a place about 20-30 min from Portland. Plus, WA doesn't have a state income tax and OR doesn't have sales tax. Best of both worlds.

We Have Movers!

Well! Looks like we're actually moving! I've never had movers come pack my stuff before. It's pretty nice. They're extremely fast and really nice. Look at all these boxes! The moving truck is coming tomorrow to load everything and then we're off to Washington on Thursday! Wow. What a change.

Update

Wow. So sorry. I've been so busy that I haven't been able to update the blog. Yikes! Moving from Texas to Washington state makes things a tad crazy. I've got a ton of pictures to post and hopefully I'll be able to post them once the craziness dies down.
