Lifeguard Stand

This is where I learned to swim--two years ago...
Yeah, so, I was a late bloomer.

Location: University of North Texas lap pool in the old gym.

On this particular shoot, I had a coach telling me I needed to leave. So there I was with this bulky and slow view camera trying to hussle.

I had two shots. On the second shot the cable release locked up which left me frantically trying to pull the thing out while the shutter stayed open and burned the film completely black.

Luckily, I still had the first shot. And here it is.
